Vintage 1989 Batman Movie Collection Action Figures Set DC Comics Super Heroes Post Kenner Super Powers/Amigos/Estrela Brazil Gulliver Complete Original Mint on Sealed Cards Official Toy Biz. Includes extremely rare Tim Burton Michael Keaton Black Costume Batman square jaw variant on unpunched card clear blister (near impossible to find) + Jack Nicholson Joker and Bob Gotham City Joker Thug. The late Heath Ledger owned Nolan's The Dark Knight 2008, but 1989 was all about "Jack" The classic film jumpstarted the careers of Michael Keaton and director Tim Burton, and forever changed the face of The Joker with Nicholson's unforgettable portrayal as "The Clown Prince of Crime."

Set includes the most sought after variant of the entire ToyBiz collection. Modeled after the classic DC Kenner 1984 Super Powers Collection, the series brought new characters never released in the U.S. including the rare Estrela Brazil Gulliver and Super Amigo molds. Early prototypes used repainted Super Powers figures as shown on the cardbacks. Now, carefully stored away for 20+ years, these highly desirable film collectibles are finally being released from the Batcave. Bright colorful artwork display in any mint on card collection minor wear. The figures themselves are flawless, no sign of joint looseness, decay, paint wear or yellowing.

CONDITION AND OTHER NOTES:

Please excuse any camera glare or lighting issues. Additional pictures have been added to attempt closer representation, but the figures are far better in person than photos do justice. You will not likely find a nicer set, especially including the elusive Batman Variant.

The Joker: Sealed mint on unpunched flat card, small dent in the plastic tray bottom and very slight curve to the card. Accessories: squirting orchid lapel, hat, cane. Bob the Goon Gotham City Thug: Card lies flat, very slight curve to card and very small tear forming near card top. Features "power kick" action, gun, knife and hat accessories.

And the RAREST of all - Movie Edition Batman figure Square Jaw variant (more "classic Batman" look than the regular much more common "baby face" versions) - UNPUNCHED CARD FLAT small creases in top corner. Accessories include retractable batrope inside utility belt, bat-spear gun and batarang.
