It's just so much fun trying to figure out how to make things better. My husband and I have traveled a bit and we like to try new things. We often stumble across things that we REALLY like and I generally try to re-create them and then try to make them just a little bit better (sometimes A LOT better!). I always experiment on my family first and of course they almost always like the stuff I make. If I get a good report from the kids, I'll pack it up and take it to work for the next set of guinea pigs. If they like it, I'm pretty sure I have something special. If I had a dime for every time someone told me "I'll pay you to make me some of this!" I wouldn't have to work my day job. What you see here is the result of all that.
Garam Masala - meaning hot spices in Hindi is a staple in India. A blend of cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom and clove is used as a garnish, dry rub or marinade.
My all-time favorite use of this blend is added to chicken salad along with 1/2 c raisins and 1/2 c sliced green or red grapes. You can also sprinkle atop sauteed vegetables or add to your favorite seafood salad. Stuff any of these combinations into a warm pita and you will have a "Stupid Good" sandwich that others will envy.
This will come to you in 1 each 2 oz packet

"This stuff is to die for good! I HIGHLY recommend and give a huge thumbs up to Mama Meg!
More orders will be forthcoming from me...I can NOT wait to order some of her other packets, too."
