This BEAUTIFUL bowl is made of Sterling Silver and made in the Georg Jensen Style. It is marked Bauhouse-Germany and Sterling. This was a group of artisans during the arts and crafts era circa 1920's to 1930's. The style strongly resembles the works of Georg Jensen. This STUNNINGLY designed bowl is in excellent condition with the exception of a wave in the outer lip of the bowl as indicated in the photo (photo #3). We purchased it this way and had intentions of taking it to a SilverSmith to have it straightened but discovered that was not necessary. It has sat displaying itself beautifully on a small table in our entrance-way since the day we brought it home and felt it was just fine left alone and as-is. The bowl measures 10" in diameter and stands 6" tall. The weight is 31.03 Troy Ounces.
