This souvenir pin is a great gift for the mountain climber in your life. It is perfectly appropriate for a man to wear on a hat or jacket. It is a Tyrolean brimmed hat trimmed with an edelweiss flower, a mountain pick axe with attached rope and a banner in green with Innsbruck in raised letters. Not sure if this is silver plate, pewter or nickle. The color is most like a US nickel. It has a C clasp on the back. It is 1.5 inches long. Wear east-west for reading Innsbruck correctly. Condition is very good to excellent vintage.
