This set is totally handmade and includes an unusual tablecloth and 4 matching napkins. The tablecloth if that is what it is (please look at all the pictures), is made like a jumbo bread basket liner. The four napkins are small like tea or cocktail napkins. They are 8.5 inches square. The cloth is 33 inches each direction. The embroidery is pink flowers with green leaves all cross-stitched. The edge is blanket stitched on all 5 pieces.
There is a cross-stitched frame on the cloth center that if used on a small square tea table would cause the 4 extensions to sort of hang in two points on each side of the table. This is quite an interesting look. This is an Art Deco set and in perfect unused but quite old condition.
I'm thinking this was made for a tea or bar trolley. That would explain the plain center with arms that drop down. The other idea is that if you had a small square table this could serve as connected placemats for 4 with napkins.
