Black Sheared Beaver Cape Stole Bolero or fur coat
This is a classic look from the 1940s. It has the squared shoulders attributed to Joan Crawford fame.
This is a soft what I believe is sheared beaver. It is jet black. The fur is short and supple.
The satin lining is in perfect condition. It is a steel blue color with darker blue floral bouquet designs on it. There are the straps of material across the shoulders to help it hang well. It is a quality fur.
This fur stole, cape is from Binder Furs - St. Louis, Missouri. It does have a slight musty stored smell to it. I am not an expert, but assume with a furrier cleaning it, that would disappear. It's really a very cool coat, cape, shawl, bolero, or jacket, whatever you want to call it.
Length: 29 at longest point in front 21" from shoulder to hem in back.
Content: fur(I think sheared beaver)

This is pre- owned and is in very good condition. Does have storage smell! I do try to describe each item to the best of my ability. I note any flaws or defects that may not have been original to the item.
