Stephen Green Lambeth Jug, Head of Napoleon REPAIRED, pinky buff overall. Mark: Stephen Green Lambeth, in moulded cartouche. According to Browne Muggs by Robin Hildyard, page 65, S. Green worked c1840-1850. This was probably made during the 1840s when the completion of Trafalgar Square stirred memories of the Napoleonic War. Almost 2 3/4 inches high. This is my one really AWFUL purchases on ebay. Most sellers have been honest with me. The seller said it was perfect however, at close inspection and common sense - it was obviously repaired. Seller was not concerned.
