When summer is nearing its end and the harvest from the garden is either being frozen or canned, it's a rewarding time on the farm. To celebrate the harvest, I made some vegetables from the garden as ornies. These beans are a great item to put on your harvest, kitchen, dining room tables or anywhere you would like to enjoy the bounty of a good crop. They measure approx 6 inches long, without their leaves. I made them out of muslin, painted the beans and their leaves. Then I lovingly aged them with a mixture of coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. They look great alone, or add them to the growing number of "produce items" in our store. Three sets of beans to an order. Thanks for looking.
