Vintage 1933 Chicago World's Fair "A Century of Progress" Wm. Rogers silverplate spoon with Fort Dearborn in the bowl of the spoon. Fort Dearborn pictures log buildings, a flag, and a bell. This is a very detailed collectible spoon, with the date "1933" , an eagle, a man's head with the words "I Will", the words "A Century of Progress, a world globe, a tall building, and the word "Chicago" all on the front of the handle. The back of the handle has a picture of a building, and the words "Travel and Transportation Building". The silver plate spoon is marked "Wm. A. Rogers" on the back of the handle. The Chicago Worlds Fair spoon measures about 6 inches long. It is in excellent vintage used condition, with very minor scratches that you would expect in an item that was lovingly cared for over all these years. I gently polished the silver on this spoon, and the buyer may choose to polish it more.
