This cuff bracelet is Sterling silver, handmade by the Navajo American Indian Nation in the USA.
It is 1/4 of an inch in width and 2 1/4 inches in length. It is made for a smaller wrist and is flexible enough to bend SLIGHTLY if done correctly. Silver is a soft metal and too much bending will snap it in half if you are not careful.
On the underside is stamped "Sterling" and "Cast".
The "Cast" means that it has been made to copy the Hopi design of silver-work they are famous for.
It is made with the traditional dull finish.
When a piece is made like this it is made with several pieces of silver individually carved and then molded together to make one piece (i.e. one on top of the other). It has the charcoal type inset etching which makes the artwork stand out.
