I am pleased to present to you an antique Yellow Ware large size bowl in great condition considering its age and how it was used for its time
I believe this bowl to be a Brush McCoy bowl as they were the only company known to use green highlights on their yellow ware as indicated in the Collectors Guide to Yellow Ware Book I. I am dating this bowl to the late 1910's early 1920's
No maker's mark but guaranteed to be an original bowl and not a reproduction piece. This bowl was obtained from an estate and the family had collected many pieces of antique yellow ware over the years
Dimensions of this large size bowl 12" wide / 6" tall
Embossed scalloped edges with great green highlights really make this bowl stand out and make it all the more unusual
The bowl is NOT in pristine, mint condition as there are chips on the top rim as shown in photos and there is a crack in the bottom of the bottom as well. Overall though a great bowl and in great condition for its age. You will not be dissapointed with this item.
What a wonderful piece this bowl would make for your Yellow Ware collection.
