A beautiful vintage wedding gown from the 1960s. Custom made by and for the one and only bride lucky enough to wear this down the aisle. This would be a perfect one-of-a-kind piece to add to your collection or wear on your very own special day as your "something old". The original owner was a very petite woman--just under 5 feet tall and 100lbs when she wed and as this is a custom piece, there is no official size on it.
Elegant ivory satin and lace construction
Small chapel train
Matching satin overcoat with button sleeves
Overcoat front buttons hide snaps underneath so you get beauty and practical functionality
As can be expected for a garment approaching nearly 50 years old, this dress will need some very very minor repairs. The zipper edging in the back has detached a few inches from the satin, but that will only require a few quick stitches to repair (zipper still works, though!). There is also what appears to be a water stain on the satin on the chest about the size of a quarter. I suspect this should easily come out with dry cleaning or a treatment of Woolite by hand. One of the loops that secures over a button on the sleeve of the coat has detached on one end, also, but again this is another really easy fix.
