These would be absolutely wonderful to make and give away as gifts to all your quilting friends at Christmas!Pattern #1 is from Gooseberry Hill and features a necklace to hold all your stitching necessities. Apparently there is also pincushions that can also be made from the same pattern. These can be plain or fancing. If you crochet...you can stitch up a little thimble holder to go on the heart. Finished size is 6" across.Pattern 2 is a little different. It's modled after the take out boxes you get when you bring home Chinese food. The pattern is by Cabin Fever Crafts and is appropriately entitled: Chinese Take Out Box. It was issued in 1995. It's a unique sewing or trinket box. Unfold it and it is slightly cupped to prevent items from falling out. Folded it resembles the take out cartons. There is also a Fortune Cookie Recipe included with the pattern. Both patterns have never been used.
