Here is a pretty typical pattern of what a normal housewife would wear during her daily routines.Pattern is The New Simplified Pictorial Review Pattern #3153. It was issued in the early 1900s....perhaps 1910.Pattern is for 38" bust. Pattern features a ladies one piece dress that is slashed and slosed at center front. The neck is finished with a collar. Long one piece sleeves are dart fitted at the wrists. Dress can be made with short sleeves with turned back cuffs. Front of dress is slashed up from the lower edge with a section inserted forming an inverted plait. The back extends over the shoulders in yoke effect and joins the gathered front. The inserted pockets may be ommitted. Ribbon is suggested for the sash which is not given in pattern.All pattern pieces appear to be present.Pattern sleeve has split on all seams. Top and bottom as can be seen in picture is torn away in several places.
