1946 Graflex Miniature Speed Graphic Camera
This 1946 Graflex Miniature Speed Graphic Camera has been examined and tested and is in near mint condition. It is being offered with all the stuff you see here in the pictures.
All of this stuff is in very good condition overall! Considering the age of the items, I am really amazed...The box is the most worn item and I suspect with a bit of cleaning, it would be very nice.
You are getting the carring case, the wooden folding tripod, 4 packs of film, many wooden film holders, the hot flash with two hoods, a light meter with case, the original manuals and some documentation...and the camera! Some other items not listed are also included...
If you are interested, please let us know! We have seen a great deal of interest about this item, based on visits to this page just in the past few days. The information below is being offered for reference purposes.
The Miniature Speed Graphic is the smallest Speed Graphic ever made in the long history of Graflex. As per movement, it had no lateral shift and the bed did not drop as the later models. But the design and finishing style continued for the subsequent Aniversary models, the next version, which is considered the most beautiful and precise camera, and the climax of Speed Graphic history.
The lens board was molded plastic 2 1/2 inch square. The speeds of focal plane shutter were T, 1/10 -1/1000sec.
The price around 1940 was $117 with Carl Zeiss Tessar105mm F4.5. The model being offered has a coated Ektar 101mmF4.5, which was made in 1946, Code (EO). Weght is about 1.8Kg.
