antique chalk pastel 1920's portrait
Lovely original chalk pastel portrait of woman of the 1920's. There is an artist signature which reads W. Reinhard. We have been unable to find any information on the artist. The frame is painted in red on a relief design. In the frame it measures 8 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches high. There is a piece of the frame missing at the bottom left hand corner and it looks like there was some kind of restoration to the top left hand corner of the frame. In the photos without the frame there is some minor damage to the edge of the picture and the backing which fits over the portrait. The colors are soft and the highlights in her hair off set the large pearl earrings. No tears or other damage unless mentioned. Displays beautifully.
