Features:

Dynamic Bass Sound - Powerful Bass-reflex Subwoofer with 20cm Big Woofer
This model features a large, newly developed bass reflex subwoofer. Compared with conventional models, the new bass-reflex subwoofer has approximately 1.5 times the volume, and the subwoofer speaker unit has been increased to 20 cm. The size of the speaker magnet has been doubled for the large subwoofer, and enlarged as well for the center, front and rear speakers, to allow finer, faster movement of the diaphragm for more powerful bass.

High Quality Picture - HDMI 1080p Up-Conversion
High-quality images can be enjoyed. This features a 1080p Up-conversion function that converts standard-definition images (720×576 pixels) from DVD sources into high-definition images (1920×1080 pixels). These up-converted signals maximize the performance of HD flat screen TVs, providing vivid, sharp and exceptionally detailed high-resolution images.

Selectable Speaker Layout - 5.1ch Surround Layout / 5.1ch Front Layout
The Panasonic DVD Home Theaters are easy to install and simple to operate. All models offer a Selectable Speaker Layout that allows the speakers to be placed in front of the listening position for a surround sound effect. The layout can be selected to match the living room.

ARC (Audio Return Channel)
This model is compatible with the ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature, which makes it possible to receive audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This feature simplifies connection by eliminating the audio cable connection between the TV audio output and the main unit&s audio input.

Wireless Ready for Rear Speakers
The SC-XH185 is Wireless Ready for Rear Speakers so there is no need to physically connect the main unit to the wireless kit for rear speakers (With purchase of SH-FX71). This wireless rear speaker connection with SH-FX71 keeps the room neat and uncluttered.
