The Nurse Barbie J4253 is part of the popular Barbie Fashion Model Collection (BFMC) and is made of a heavier material called silkstone. Only 3,800 of these dolls were issued worldwide.

This doll was designed by Robert Best and is one of the "working woman" dolls issued in 2006. This doll was a European/Australian dealer exclusive.

Barbie wears a classic white nurse uniform with white pantyhose and white heels. She even has her own mini stethoscope (non-working). A blue cape is included as well as a doll-sized plastic clipboard, a "pencil" and a pair of faux pearl earrings. The final touch is a nurse's cap atop her dark brown hair.

According to Mattel's tier system, this doll is a "Gold Label" collector doll. The doll has never been removed from the box and the box has been stored in a cardboard carton since purchase. Certificate of authenticity and doll stand are included in the box.
