pair of antique english transferware Pitcairns England Mostyn salad plates wall decor
Here we have a wonderful pair of antique english transferware salad plates from Pitcairns LTD England in the green on white Mostyn pattern.
Marked as shown and in good condition, light wear. One has small chip under rim as shown in last photo. This pair does have crazing. 8" in diameter.
Perfect for use or beautiful decorations in almost any room. If you chose to use, I would personally use for dry non-greasy foods and never soak plates that will increase the visibility of the lines of crazing by making them darker. I use similar plates when entertaining and buy the disposable paper doilies to cover center of plate and pile with tasty bite size appetizers or desserts.
