Vintage Owl Decoupage Hinged Wood Basket Purse Signed 1971
The raised decoupage owls give this basket purse a neat textured appearance. The hinged top opens to another raised owl on a branch and is signed with initials one on top of another: MJ '71. The handle and some of the basket weaves are covered with black velvet trim. The interior is lined with 70's colors quilted fabric. A fabric covered wood board fits in the bottom. A fun retro purse!
Condition: Very good. There is noticeable wear to the velvet ribbon bow on front and back as expected with age. The basket is in excellent shape and quite sturdy.
Measures Approximately: 9" High, 9-1/2" Wide at top and 41/2" Deep. Handle has a 4" Drop
