Antique Sarreguemines Faience Wild Duck Hunting Plate c.1880-1930, ff250
.Offered is a beautiful antique French faience hunting plate with the back stamp of Digion and Sarreguemines.
This plate was produced between 1880-1930 according to the makersmark.
It features a raised basket weave rim trimmed in black with the center transfer depicting ducks in a marsh being chased into flight by the hunting dog of the hunter who is attempting to shoot them from behind the tree. Very lovely and a great example of early french faience.
It measures just over 7 inches in diameter.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs!
