This seems to have been the premier magazine for the homemaker, devoted to "culinary science and domestic economics." This issue, which is in excellent condition, is the January 1926 copy and heads the cover page with "Planked Chicken!" It starts with page 401 and goes throguh 480. The pages are clean with no tears or creases, some a bit dulled, and the cover is holding nicely. The cover has some spots on it as well as the remnants of a sticker that was removed but it only marred the surface. This group of books is amazingly well-preserved for their age!

The articles are a delight to read through and the advertisements are charming! Interestingly there are articles on home decor, etc., even short stories, as well as recipes and menus. I don't know how you could get a better look at yesteryear than these great culinary classics!
