antique Morimura brothers moriage handled bowl
Here's a nippon bowl with an enchanting country scene made by the Morimura brothers and topped off with two very nice moriage handles. The rim of the bowl has a diaper pattern also done in moriage. The bowl measures 6 1/4 inches including the handles by 1 7/8 inches not including the handles. The condition is excellent with no major defects such as hairlines, chips or cracks. All the moriage is intact. There is a spot on the bottom of one of the handles where the artist missed painting.
