Pan-Am Expo post card & ad card from Buffalo tavern
Extremely rare (only 2 copies known) post card from Klein Deutchland, a German tavern in the Pine Hill section of Buffalo with "No Pan American without 'Klein Deutchland' " at the bottom. Published by Georg Reinhard, the card has a Private Mailin Card back, establising that it was distributed prior to 12/1/1901. The postcard is in excellent condition and is PC328 in PANorAMa.
Accompanying it is an advertsing card (AC40) from the same tavern with the owner's photo and info on one side and a colrful cartoon on the other. The cartoon shows "Reuben", obviously a hick visitor to the PAE, washing his face in the toilet bowl water; pictures of the Electric Tower and the Beck Design are on the walls of the hotel bathroom. The ad card has some light creases
