VTG 50s Maxwell Shieff Ruffled tiered Dress SS Geometric Beverly Hills Silk Square neck
This Gorgeous 1950s Silk dress has tiers/rows of ruffles by Maxwell Shieff- Beverly Hills. The dress has a flattering square neckline and sort sleeves. The bodice has a strapless lining with boning in the side seaming . The dress is completely lined in an orangey-red silk lining.
The skirt portion has another very sheer lining with a crisps one inch at the hem. The
The neckline drops 8 inches in the back from the shoulder.The square front neckline drops 6 inches from the shoulder seam. The center back metal zipper is 13 inches. The top 2 inches closes with hook and eyes.
This dress came from the estate of an Los Angeles Internationally known flamenco dancer. She and her husband owned a restaurant and they both performed Flamenco dance, She also taught Flamenco dance..
Condition:I have only found one very slight tiny hole in the orange lining (not the outer dress fabric)which was difficult to find. It is very minor - high up- and not visible (lining) does not effect the wearability and still consider it in fabulous VTG condition.
