This is for a new magnetic motor starter designed to run and protect air compressors or pumps or any machine that automatically runs based on it's settings.

Pre-wired for easy installation. This starter includes an On/Off selector switch and LED indicator light.

Two wires are stubbed inside the enclosure that should be wired to your remote switch. Such as, the pressure switch contacts on your air compressor. This will allow your machine to start and stop based on the pressure setting while the selector switch is ON. The selector switch is used to activate your motor starter but the machine will not run until the settings from your machine are met.

The LED indicator will light when ever the selector switch is On to indicate the motor starter is active and ready to connect power to your machine.

IEC type DOL motor starters are made up of primarily two parts. A contactor and overload device. Both devices have maximum ratings and the overload has maximum and minimum ratings. You should choose a motor starter that fits both criteria.

Control Voltage is 240 VAC and is pre-wired. The control voltage is the Voltage used to magnetically engage the starter.

It is very common to use a 120V or 240V control Voltage even while running a machine on 480V. One or several overloads may be available for this starter. Your equipment full load Amp rating should fall within the overload settings to be properly protected.

Overload relay is Protection Class 10A and provides auto or manual reset. Additionally, the overload includes stop button, test button, normally open contact and normally closed contact.

Overload rating is 4 - 6 Amps.

Nice steel enclosure with hinged door and metal latch. Weatherproof to IP65 (~Nema 12X).

Heavy back-plate is easily removed. Back-plate is mounted by 4 threaded studs and spaced from the back of the enclosure with rubber shock absorbing spacers.

Removable gland plate located in enclosure bottom makes hole cutting and conduit connections easy.

Also includes 4 mounting brackets for each box as pictured
