HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
The Uncas Manufacturing Company was founded in Providence, RI in 1945 and produced Fine Costume Jewelry. Quality Prong Set Pieces of 10k Gold Filled & 18K Heavy Gold Electroplate. Also other Silver Plated over base metals. Many pieces had 3-dimensional detailed surfaces layered with huge repousse’ set on an antique finishes.



The Company used Mark: "U" in an elongated diamond shape" since 1945 as well as a large "V" inside and outside a triangle for Gold Rings and other Fine Costume Jewelry. It is assumed that the company ceased operations in 1980.
