Lucky Jim was a first novel by Kingsley Amis and is considered his best and most famous of the 20 novels plus other works of his life. It was the first novel to feature an ordinary man as anti-hero, and the first to have a campus setting. The book was copyrighted in 1953.
Full of humor and human sympathy, it is considered a rollicking good read to this day.
