Thanks to the newly developed four-step 'Switchover Zoom' system and the high-quality optical design incorporating a glass-molded aspherical element and a plastic aspherical element, this zoom lens not only ensures high-quality images, but also can be stored in a small space when retracted, thus contributing to the reduction of the overall body size.

Its wide focal-length coverage makes it ideal for a wide variety of subjects - from spectacular landscapes to tightly cropped snapshots of distant figures
