DEEP UNDER VIRGINIA CITY By: P. Zanner Friends, over a century has passed since Virginia City’s dramatic season of fame had its effect on a good share of the Pacific Coast populace. In the American mind Virginia City became, during the 1860’s and 1870’s, a mythical fairyland where any dream could come true, where wealth was lying on the ground for anyone who cared to reach down and pick up the pebbles, where sudden riches constituted the conventional order of things. Here is the rest of the story. Please read this. This is an overlooked story I found in an unusual and different magazine.. There were many a western story published – the common ones about Cowboys and Indians are listed on eCRATER every day but the rarer ones about mines in the old west are seldom found. Collectors treasure them and their price guide value rises every day. They are hard to find. I hunt them out because really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest. Here’s one of ‘em. FOLLOWING PURCHASE AND PAYMENT, IF YOU WILL WRITE ME OF YOUR SPECIAL NAME OR INTEREST, I WILL DO A FREE SEARCH OF MY COLLECTION AND UNINDEXED STORIES AND NAMES. TOM RUSSELL COLLECTIONFor more Information Please Visit:The Tom Russell Collection IF I FIND SOMETHING THAT I THINK MERITS YOUR INTEREST, I WILL WRITE A REVIEW AND PLACE IT ON eCRATER (ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS) AND GIVE YOU NOTICE AND A HEAD START TO BUYITNOW! Following my retirement, I have dedicated my remaining hours to indexing the Genealogy of our western heroes. During my research, I discovered that thousands of our kinfolk lay unfound and unrecognized on some book dealer’s shelf gathering dust. Because Old Western History and Memorabilia was printed before computer indexing, I index every item I sell. This complete index will be bound and included in this offering at no additional cost. Humbly, I am trying to keep our history alive. I hope you appreciate the effort. DEEP UNDER VIRGINIA CITY By: P. Zanner Folks, sooner or later – Genealogists are going to realize that their family kinfolks are lying on some dealer’s dusty shelves. If I can contribute to finding one little name or photo of that long lost ancestor you have been waiting to find, its worth all the time I spend. As a tribute to the honor of our American Ancestors, Early Settlers, Forefathers, Pioneers and our Native American Indians, my indexed listings will include all names mentioned in the story from this time on.
