Scanner description
The HP Scanjet 4p scanner is a versatile flatbed scanner that captures black-and-white and color drawings, photographs, and text at high resolution. Using HP's Accupage technology and third-party OCR software, scan text into a format that can be edited. HP PictureScan software can capture photographs in 256 levels of gray and 16.7 million colors. The optional 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF) can scan multiple pages at a time. The HP Scanjet 4p scanner can also be used with the printer to make convenient color and black-and-white copies right at the desk. The HP Scanjet 4p scanner simplifies storage and retrieval of scanned documents, images, and text and provides automated links to e-mail and PC fax applications with the included Paperport (TM) for HP software. Use the PaperPort software to automatically connect to e-mail and PC fax applications for fast and easy document distribution--all right from the desktop.
