As a mixed media project this fantastically floral shabby jewelry dress form and hat stand was so fun to create. Using an ivory palette with soft pastel pinks, blues, greens and purples this mashup of paper mache, Styrofoam, gesso, buttons, crochet lace, nylon, a repurposed steel paper towel holder and several (maybe at least a dozen) coats of gloss glaze.

I originally made it to model my vintage hats that I sell here on Etsy but discovered quite quickly that it's even better used in home decor or even if you have fashion boutique or antique, vintage or crafts booth to sell your wares. It also makes a very special gift. That said, it's also pretty weighty so you could clobber a thief and knock'em out cold with it if you needed to!
