I have an elegant pair of floral etched double candle holders that is made by the New Martinsville Glass Company and are dated from 1926-1944. The floral motif is called the Meadow Wreath design.
New Martinsville Glass Manufacturing Company was established in 1901 in New Martinsville, West Virginia. It was bought and renamed the Viking Glass Company in 1944. In 1987 Kenneth Dalzell, former president of Fostoria Glass Company, purchased the factory and renamed it Dalzell-Viking. Production ceased in 1998.
They measure 5 1/8 inches in height, 7 1/4 inches from taper to taper, and 5 5/8 inches across the base.
There are no chips or scratches and are in great condition.
I also have a matching footed 10 1/2 inch bowl.
They make a wonderful addition to any room or a great gift for that special someone.
