*ITEM: ARGUS Bulb Type Camera Flash Unit Antique 1950s Era

*YEAR: Unknown, probably the late 1940's or 1950's
*MATERIAL: Chrome dish with a bakelite body
*MEASURES: Overall approx. 5 3/8" dia dish, bakelite body approx. 4 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" .
*CONDITION: Not tested. I do not know if this flash unit is working or not. The bakelite body doesn't have any cracks or chips. The camera mount looks OK visually but it was not tested either so it may or maynot have defects. The bulb pushout button appears to push OK when I insert my finger into the bulb socket. The chrome dish has some very noticeable micro scratches and wear from being used alot years ago.
