AN AMERICAN LEGEND SCULPTURE OVER THE WAVES ELIE NADELMAN COLLECTOR Folks, the author states in closing, “The builder of a ship felt it incumbent upon him to give a finishing touch to a vessel by the addition of ornamental carving. While it was always his ambition that this should take the form of a figurehead, his appropriation would frequently not permit this extravagance. Then he compromised with the scroll-work on the prow or a carved fiddle-head, the latter placed on the ship’s cutwater.” Here is the rest of the story entitled: AN AMERICAN LEGEND SCULPTURE OVER THE WAVES ELIE NADELMAN COLLECTOR FACTUAL REPORTING AT THE TIME NOT RETREAD HISTORY - 82 YEARS OLD AN AMERICAN LEGEND SCULPTURE OVER THE WAVES ELIE NADELMAN COLLECTOR This is story as originally written. There were many great stories published about the early beginning of and the recognition of the American sculptors in wood memorabilia– common ones show up every day but the rarer ones never make it. This is a collector’s item and very hard to find. I hunt them out cause really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest. Here’s one of the best. FOLLOWING PURCHASE AND PAYMENT, IF YOU WILL WRITE ME OF YOUR SPECIAL NAME OR INTEREST, I WILL DO A FREE SEARCH OF MY COLLECTION AND UNINDEXED STORIES AND NAMES. TOM RUSSELL COLLECTIONFor more Information Please Visit:The Tom Russell CollectionIF I FIND SOMETHING THAT I THINK MERITS YOUR INTEREST, I WILL WRITE A REVIEW AND PLACE IT ON eCRATER (ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS) AND GIVE YOU NOTICE AND A HEAD START TO BUYITNOW! Following my retirement, I have dedicated my remaining hours to indexing the images and text of folks who have contributed to our memorabilia. During my research, I discovered that thousands of our kinfolk lay unfound and unrecognized on some book dealer’s shelf. Because Old Memorabilia was printed before computer indexing, I index every item I sell. This complete index will be bound and included in this offering at no additional cost. I hope you appreciate the effort. AN AMERICAN LEGEND SCULPTURE OVER THE WAVES ELIE NADELMAN COLLECTOR Folks, sooner or later – Genealogists are going to realize that their family kinfolks are laying on some dealer’s dusty shelves. If I can contribute to finding one little name or photo of that long lost ancestor you have been waiting to find, it’s worth all the time I spend. As a tribute to the honor of our American Ancestors, Forefathers, Sculptors, and our Native American Indians, my indexed listings will include all names mentioned in the story from this time on. It’s a shame that our past is being lost. My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the eCRATER entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hour. But, OH HOW I LOVE THIS OLD FACTUAL REPORTING HISTORY. What a Rare Item!!! Great Pictures. You will love it as it was saved from this old American news magazine of many years ago. These pages (8-1/2 by 12 inches) are the ORIGINAL - 82 YEAR-OLD piece in excellent condition. As clearly stated in my description, this is featured story saved from a rarely found and seldom read American news magazine. I don't give out name of publication or date because I have caught competitors copying my index and work and trying to sell it as theirs. I hope you understand. Buyer pays postage of $5.00 Priority; $13.25 for International Mail. Texans must pay 8-¼ % sales tax.
