Italian Majolica Sgraffito Vase Folk Art Pottery floral ship Vintage
This is a vintage, Italian, Majolica Sgraffito folk pottery vase with a scalloped rim, hand painted ,and etched in an intricate, whimsical, multicolored floral design on one side and a masted wooden sailing ship on the other banded with rose and green. It measures 6.5" x 4". This sweet,rustic pot has a scalloped rim. It is in vintage,good condition, there is some staining,and daubs of glaze on the interior of the pot, minor chipping mostly in the glaze, often seen on these folk art pieces. The piece is signed by etching into the clay- Italy 130[!brand :Italian Majolica Sgraffito!][!pattern :ship and flower!]
