Antique 1800s Ceiling Tile Wall Tin Measures 24 1/2" (wide) x 24 1/2" (tall)
TIN R44 Each of our tins are unique. Designers will take them to display alone......or frame...... or shadow box or mix and max for a desired effect.
There was a time during the 1800's when any store you walked into....on any little Main Street town in America....were using these old metal ceiling tin tiles to line every inch of their ceiling. The only thing that varied much from store to store was the intricacy of the design. They lined the ceilings of the corner pharmacy.....movie houses....furniture stores....etc.
As the years went by and the old stores were torn down to make way for the new ones....these old tins were relegated to the trash heaps in many cases. Now all these years later they have become VERY popular in all manner of interior designs. And Collectible as historical Precious pieces of Americana.
Much of the old chippy white paint can still be seen on this one. It's a wonderful visual effect!
Because this tin is an ORIGINAL 1800's-EARLY 1900's piece.....It DOES have rust.....and holes....(all to be expected) These kind of things are why we take HIGH Resolution pictures of EACH Piece.
The tin you SEE is the ACTUAL tin you will RECEIVE.
We CAN combo ship multiple tins together (up to a point) to save you money so feel free to view the others we have listed. We've taken several high resolution pictures for your inspection.
