Country Home Magazine was launched in 1979 by the publishers of Better Homes & Gardens and became the premier magazine of country style, reaching a devoted readership of more than 7.5 million before it closed in 2009. The magazine captured the desire for a casual, comfortable, simpler lifestyle rooted in tradition and explored the topic from every angle: design and decorating, antiques and collectibles, fine handcraft, gardening, celebrations, travel, historic preservation, and cooking. Each issue is packed with well-written articles complemented by exquisite photography and presented in attractive layouts.
The February 1995 issue features articles on winter retreats in New England, New Mexico's Turquoise Trail, renovating a Victorian-era miner's cabin in Colorado, primitive antiques in an Iowa home, a rustic country house on Lake Michigan, an indoor garden in California, an historic farm in Kentucky, a tilemaker in Seattle, vintage paper dolls, and remembering a mother's recipes.
Very good condition overall. Shelf wear, light spine and edge bumps, front cover bottom corner clipped (manufacturing defect), inside excellent.
