Charles Revson created these bracelets for his Ulitima II perfume in 1970. He is the designer of the original Cartier Love bracelets, so Cartier gave him authorization to reproduce the bracelets in gold electroplate (the original versions are solid gold). The inside of the bracelet reads 1970 ALDO CIPULLO GOLD ELECTROPLATE and CHARLES REVSON, INC.

About Cartier Love Bracelets :
The authentic original Love Bracelet was designed in 1970 by Aldo Cipullo.
 
Charles Revson ( owner & founder of Revlon and Ultima ll cosmetics)  decided to offer ( with permission from Cartier)..an 18k EGP Love Bracelet. His version is stamped on the inside Charles Revson. Made in England  It also lists Aldo Cipullo as the designer. It has one screw on one side, the other side is hinged.
At the time they sold for $20.00 and people who could not afford the real one from Cartier, purchased the one from Revson.
The Revson bracelets being sold in today's marketplace in MINT Uncirculated condition are over $4,000!
