This 12" X 15" Cactus wood frame contains an approximately 8" by 6" tile showing one large tarpon and 6 smaller tarpon fish. The tile uses mostly blue and green colors.The frame is cactus wood. The tile is mounted on a black matte that creates a 3/4" black textured border around the tile and between it and the frame. The bottom of the tile is titles "Lit Fuse - Tarpon" and signed by Mark Asusinno. There is a sticker on the back which reads:Rare and Unusual Cactus Wood. This handcrafted frame is styled from naturally-dead cactus wood, which is over 75 years old and comes from the high desert country of Chile. The cactus is left standing for several years and then harvested. After special processing, you can see the results of this magnificent natural wood product. Since in most parts of the world the cactus is considered an endangered species, it is harvested under Cites Inspections. Cites inspects the container when it arrives in the USA.
