Pre-owned, rare find, darling signed L-U-C-E doll box has a raised fuzzy applique of a cowboy doll with his rope, chaps, and ten gallon hat along with a background of cactus and a conastoga wagon with horses. This is a wood doll box covered in red paper. It has brass metal hinges and shows overall wear due to its age and condition. out pictures are part of the description so please look them over closely. There is a small piece of wood missing on one corner. an easy repair. The paper covering does show wear at the edges and corners. brass metal also shows surface wear due to age. Inside has overall star chinz design pattern paper which does have some areas of paper peeling at top edges. there are two small spots on the inside of the lid down towards the bottom and one on the bottom half in the right corner closest to you. For me, this all adds character. for without it I just would not get the feeling I am looking for. This little case was very loved. If you have the little cowboy doll, you will have something very special. I hear he even had little spurs. measures 12 inches x 9 inches x 4 & 1/2 inches. The hinges are all in working order with no damage. Same with the little handle. It is original and has no damage.
