What is the Dreamcast SD Adapter?

With the Dreamcast SD Adapter you can play full games and emulators without the need to use CD-Rs. The DC SD Adapter is connected to the Dreamcast through the back Serial Port. There are many commercial games and also homebrew emulators that run at full speed and full sound. Dreamshell 4 RC1 CD:

The new release for the Dreamcast software that will let you load games, emulators, and homebrew has an overall speed improvement—the Dreamcast Dreamshell 4 RC1. The new Dreamshell 4 RC1 core speeds-up loading time which makes many more commercial games fun to play via the Dreamcast SD Adapter. Also, more support is given to home developed software (homebrew). Finally, the user interface is clean and easier to use so that everyone can run it without any issues.

The Dreamcast SD Adapter, Who is it for?

The DC SD Adapter is easy to use and can be used by anyone. The only requirement is that you have a Dreamcast System and a blank SD card. Now, most laptop, notebook, and desktop computers come with an SD reader/writer that you will need to save games and emulators to your blank SD card. After you have saved games, emulators, etc to your blank SD card, then, you place your SD card into the DC SD Adapter. Then, you load the Dreamshell CD provided into your Dreamcast, once loaded you selected the “File Management Option” and then select “SD” and finally load the ISO file that you want to run. It is really an easy process to do!
