Fineness: .999 Fine Silver
Obverse: Winged Victory is flanked by the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatéptl volcanoes in the background. In the left field: 1 ONZA (1 Ounce). In the right field: PLATA PURA, (Pure Silver) and the Casa de Moneda mint mark. Below the subject: 1985, MEXICO, Ley .999 (Fineness .999)
Reverse: An eagle standing on a cactus, with a snake in its talons and beak. The words ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS frames the subject.
