Beautiful CHARMING ORIGINAL CHROMOLITHOGRAPH PRINT. Lovely illustration of a young Victorian woman in face portrait view. She is surrounded by a large bouquet of purple violets.

This image is Copyright 1908 By The Forbes Litho. Mfg Co. F-136C. At the bottom of the lithograph image is a motto inscription:
The Violet holds this charm apart,
It leads the way to a maiden's heart.
Such VIBRANT colors, as shown in our photos. She is a stunning example of the popular portrayl of beautiful Edwardian women illustrated by artist. Not certain whom the artist is, possibly is C. Wardle Traver. She makes a pretty focal point with her wavy blonde hair, among the background hues of various purples, light and dark violet flowers.
Framed in it's Original Antique Beautifully Ornate Gold Gesso Wood Frame with its ORIGINAL OLD GLASS. Is wavy heavier glass with lots of pops in glass. We did replace the back, it had an old wood backer, so took it off and replaced with newer cardboard backing and kraft paper. Old wiring on back, ready to hang up on your wall.
Frame has the normal age wear. It has some very very minor gesso missing. But in the upper left hand corner, as photographed, approx. 1-1/2 inches of gesso missing on very edge of frame. You cannot see once on wall but at the top side and along bottom side of frame, has some wood area missing. Frame is still very solid and souund.
The frame measures 13 5/8 inches wide by 11-5/8 inches high, 1 inch wide border, 3/4 inch thick. Back picture print measurement of 12 inches wide by 10 inches high.
This wonderful Unfaded Print is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. No stains, No tears. Some age toning on front. Age toning on back. Three slight creases off the right edge.
