Vase ceramic Brown/cream Handmade Oscar Y. Quezada Mata Ortiz Mexico
This unique vessel was made from natural clay, extracted from the land surrounding the pueblo of Mata Ortiz in the Casa Grandes Valley of Chihuahua, Mexico. Intricate white geometric designs, inspired by traditional motifs were applied to its Sedona Red background. The artist, Oscar Quezada, started when he was a young boy and today creates excellent pieces with beautiful designs. This piece is signed by the artist. Because of the time consuming nature of their work it remains a rare and highly sought item.
