A very collectible antique trade card issed by Arbuckle Bros. Coffee Co, NY with copyright date in lower left front corner 1889. This card is no.88 Denmark from a series of cards called, Geographical Series which showed a colored map with boundries of 50 different chief countries of the world. This series of cards was used in conjunction with their series of Zoo-logical cards. The front shows the map of Denmark with scenes of Shipping Cattle. The back tells about the rewards of using Arbuckles Ariosa coffee, with an explanation on the right side of the card series with a list of the 50 countries represented. At the bottom back it says: Lith by Dondaldson Bros. NY.
This little 3"x 5" card was praised at the time of issue by teachers & public schools, pronouncing them as one of the happiest, and most impressive mediums for imparting instruction to all classes of students. A fun collectible...to get all the different cards issued.
