HOMEMAKER'S GUILD Regal West Bend Waterless Electric Skillet Fry Pan
HOMEMAKER'S GUILD Regal West Bend Waterless Electric Skillet Fry Pan
This vintage electric skillet / fry pan was designed for WATERLESS cooking by HOMEMAKER’S GUILD, which I believe may now be owned by Regal because that is where you get parts (https://www.regalware.com/alt/PORDERS.pgm). It is made of high quality, multicore-5-ply stainless steel that is designed to last a lifetime. The bottom says Webalco, 200 Watts, 120 Volts AC Only. It is completely immersible. No manual but I found a really helpful website that not only teaches the principles of waterless cooking but also tells how to get replacement handles, if ever needed. It is: http://www.school-for-champions.com/health/waterless2.htm. Comes with a West Bend power plug that works great (doubt it is original). Fully tested and working great. I used oven cleaner on the bottom to remove grease buildup and all but what you see came off in a single cleaning. One more with a little elbow grease will retore it fully but I’m leaving that to the next owner. Heavy pan with, I think, liquid core. The lid doubles as a serving platter. Expected minor scratches from utensil usage and storage. Measures 11.5” across exterior; interior is 9.5” in diameter. In need of a more detailed cleaning.
