In researching her, I found this great article entitled PAWNEE BILL “LITTLE GIANT OF OKLAHOMA” by G. L. Savage who writes of personal experiences with Major Gordon W., “Pawnee Bill”. Here the author chronicles some of the wild west show performers that accompanied Pawnee Bill. (See index below) along with little known stories of the Indian friend who trusted the little Giant from Oklahoma. The author says that Uncle Sam never quite lifted his hand from Pawnee Bill’s shoulder as he was called upon time and time again to serve our country WHENEVER THEY NEEDED A PERSON OF HIS ABILITYPlease read this. My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the eCRATER entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hour.
