This tablecloth is very old (1920s-1930s) but in great condition. It is made of white cotton and embroidered in each corner with two large butterflies holding up chains of daisies that lead toward the next corner. The edge is hand crocheted shell lace that is worked into the cloth.
This piece has an abundance of French knots, a few of which need to be resecured. Otherwise this tablecloth has some almost imaginary tiny stains and a dark pinpoint dot shown in whole tablecloth pic. These may come out. I have not touched this.
A valued addition to your antique or embroidered linen collection.
It is 32 inches square.
This tablecloth is not soiled in the middle. I don't know what the camera is picking up. I can't find anything even with ultraviolet light.
