This is an unusual pair of wooden SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS in the shape of OUT HOUSES. This set was a souvenir from PENSACOLA, FLORIDA, USA. The wooden salt and pepper shakers are in the shape of primitive OUT HOUSES and are brown varnished.The front of the OUT HOUSES have doors hand-drawn in black and the words "MA" and "PA" above the doors. Both shakers have five holes on the top and "Pensacola Fla" stenciled in black. There are metal stoppers on the bottom. The SHAKERS are made of two pieces of wood. The base is one inch square on the bottom, 1¾ inches tall at the front and 1¼ inches at the back. The top piece of wood is glued on and 1¾ inches square and ¼ inch thick. There are a few small scratches on the SHAKERS. The metal stopper on the SALT SHAKER is quite worn but the other one is in good condition. There is some salt in the SALT SHAKER but I do not want to try to take off the worn shaker to try to remove it.I DO NOT BELIEVE IN USING "STOCK" PHOTOGRAPHS.
